Private, Comfortable and Cozy with Distant Ocean and Mountain Views

Boulay Inn is nestled on Kauai’s south side in rural Omao. It is your own secluded home away from home with all the amenities to ensure your comfort. There is a spacious airy living area, a queen sized bed, tiled shower and a verdant yard outside your windows. Your accommodations are airy and comfortable with a combination of ceiling fans and sliding glass doors. We have tried to think of everything you might possibly need for your island home. Cooking facilities, entertainment center, including cable TV and Wifi are all available. No need to lug your hair dryer, there is one in your bath. A washer and dryer are provided because we don’t want you to spend any of your Hawaiian vacation in a laundromat.

Omao (meaning green in Hawaiian) is a convenient hub for all east, west, and south shore activities. Sunny Poipu Beach is just minutes away with swimming beaches and all sorts of water sports such as snorkeling, diving, surfing, boogie or stand up boarding. We have most beach accessories for your convenience, including beach towels, chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. Remember to bring your sunscreen.

If golf is your game, choose from three beautiful courses within a fifteen minute drive.

Old Koloa Town, Poipu and the surrounding area abound with dining and shopping choices. There are over thirty restaurants within a ten minute drive and several areas with "lots of different kinds of shops". Koloa town has two grocery stores, a pharmacy and a bank. You won’t have to go far to find what you need.

Central to all center and west Kauai
Lovely spot. Lots of space, excellent bed, fully equipped kitchen and very friendly host. Lots of windows and great ventilation. Perfect location for west and south islad trips.

Great base for activities and explorations on the Island. Hosts are friendly and respectful. Will need car as walking isn't recommended along narrow, busy road. Large, well stocked kitchen. Time went by too fast. Thank you.

This was the best vacation we have had, ever. The hospitality offered by Sheri and Jim went above our expectations. They had wonderful advice to offer and were happy to answer and questions we had. We had anything we might need from condiments in the fridge to coffee, and cooking oils. Sheri was kind enough to offer to take pictures of the bridal party when we got ready here as well, and she takes a good picture! Ha ha We were so fortunate to find this for an amazing rate, and were so pleasantly surprised by the charm. The yard is in immaculate condition and shows the love and care they put into providing a lovely place to stay. The beach is a short and lovely drive, as is access to shopping and groceries. They had anything we might’ve needed for the beach from towels to snorkel gear, boogie boards and beach chairs. Laundry was available also, which was nice after spending a few days at the beach, not having to haul home wet/sandy swim wear was a real bonus! Clearly they take pride in their home, and the service they are providing to their guests. It really was a little home away from home. ♥️ We really can’t say thank you enough. Mahalo

Marvelous Stay!!
It is hard to find a listing that reminds you of home yet gives you the experience of beautiful Kauai. The Boulay Inn did just that!! From the moment we arrived to the minutes before we left, Sheri and Jim could not be more welcoming, kind, and supportive! Their location was incredibly close to the southern beaches yet allowed access to the main highways to get West or North with ease! The listing came supplied with all the items we needed to make our trip more affordable by cooking meals at home and unwinding after a long day of adventuring. Christmas in Hawaii is a beautiful thing, but Christmas at the Boulay Inn was a magical experience!! Could not recommend this listing more highly and we will definitely be back, given the opportunity! Thank you Sheri and Jim!!
