About this property

Middle age house in a beautiful sunny moutain village

As it is in old castle, the house has a large and confortable living room as well as a large kitchen and dining room. The kitchen and dining room have just been renewed with a wooden floor and modern equipment. There is also a veranda, with a fantastic view on Mont Canigou, as well as a terrace outside. There are 4 bedrooms, of which two rooms with a double bed each, and two rooms with 2 beds each. You have your own private parking.
It is a very quiet and charming place, which makes you travel in time and space.
The area is one of the most sunny in France, and you are sure to spend a lot of time outdoor and to get fit. it is also a good place to relax, read, paint ... The village has been very well preserved. It has got stone houses and pavements, and a beautiful Roman church.

Belle maison pittoresque, magnifique vue

A recommander ++

My husband and I are found of nature. We are both agronomists, and my husband is also a bird watcher. We love hiking in the mountains, especially in this wild area.
Our three children are young adults now. They come with their friends every year because it is such an exotic and enjoyable place to spend hollidays. It's a good place to change your habits.

Why they chose this property

The village has several advantages: it is old and well preserved, the view is fantastic (it is said to be the best of the area), it is at the foot of a nature reserve with many trails. But is is also close to the main road and shops. And you can easily get to other spots (ski resort, historical towns, seaside, chateaux cathares). Our house is very old and comfortable. And it is big enough to have friends with us. We try to make it more and more comfortable.

What makes this property unique

When you are tired of bad weather, and stressed by professional life or city life, it is the best place to go! It is the southern region of France near the Mediterranean Sea and the climate is fantastic! You get a sun therapy!
We found in love with the house because it is old and charming. The dining room and the living rooms are large and confortable. There is a unique atmosphere of history.
The village is also one of the most beautiful in the region. The view is gorgeous, the climate always good when it is raining elsewhere.
The village is also close to many different spots. Besides hiking, you can visit many historical sites. You can go the seaside, or bathe in hot springs and get massages ... You can also go to Spain, or visit wineries...
