About this property

Gorgeous Casita In The Heart Of Historic Old Town

Enchanting Private Casita in the heart of Albuquerque's Historic Old Town, with all the charm and character you would expect in Old Town. Two minute walk to the central plaza, shops, and galleries. 20+ restaurants and cafes within a half mile, less than 5 minute stroll to most. And, the following Albuquerque museums are all less than 400 yards from our casita: Albuquerque Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History, and Explora Science Center (which is interactive and GREAT for kiddos too)! The location of this comfy cozy romantic casita is perfect for any visit to Albuquerque, especially if you do not want to drive everywhere. Enjoy evening/weekend events and concerts all year round, but especially summer, Balloon Fiesta, and Christmas. Christmas in Old Town is an experience everyone should have at least once in their lives! Bike from our driveway to the Zoo or the Rio Grande River Bosque Trail, where you can ride along the river without ever crossing traffic for 20+ miles. Your host Lily, who lives in the main house, will make you feel welcome and at home, but also give you privacy, as if you have your own little resort retreat, right in the middle of old town. This separate private upstairs Casita is a 700 sqft SECOND FLOOR private/separate loft style unit with a bright open studio floorplan, with a queen bed and full sized futon for extra guests or kiddos. You have your own locked entrance, tuscan country kitchen, queen bed, couch, cable TV and internet, bathroom w shower, and deck, where you can enjoy our wonderful climate year round and hear the excitement and energy of Old Town beckoning!

Light filled and cozy casita
The Casita location couldn’t have been better with many eating options, museums, brewery and bike path. The Casita was just as pictured with everthing you needed in a well appointed arrangement. Loved having the screeed in porch with mountain views and lots of sun through the windows.

This is a fully furnished studio with a well-equipped kitchenette for a comfortable stay. Its location, just a few blocks from Old Town Albuquerque, makes it very convenient for going out to shops, galleries and restaurants. Parking on the street or in the driveway is safe and easy. We fully recommend this place.
