Comfortable Accommodations
The cottage was clean and comfortable. Our family of four adults had plenty of space. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking utensils, the bath amenities were of good quality and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was responsive to our questions and requests.

Great neighborhood within walking distance to downtown
Joanna was great with her communication through out the processes responding quickly to our concerns prior to our visit and confirming our arrival was uneventful. The apartment was very spacious and clean when we arrived and everything is depicted correctly in the pictures. Joanna also had provided snacks for the visit in the kitchen which were amazing after a long flight and a Brita water pitcher in the fridge filled and ready. I understand why there is an age requirement after visiting as Joanna has a lot of antiques on display throughout the rental, although it would be nice to return to the same location with our two kids in the future (6 and 10). Parking is on the street, but was able to get a spot right in front of the house almost every time we returned except for one day there was a graduation party near by. The neighborhood is great, quiet at night and minimal traffic throughout the day. My wife and I walked around the neighborhood in the morning and enjoyed the tree lined roads and quite atmosphere. We also took time to walk downtown one day and enjoyed a few of the businesses downtown, the walk was a little long but was very comfortable. The only real complaint or warning I would give is that due to the antiques and some older books in the apartment there is a bit of an musty/grandparent's home smell to it. I would smell the musty/grandparent's home smell only when I initially came in to the apartment and I would quickly get used to it. As stated before I would stay at this location again, the only limitation would be if our children were traveling as well because they do not meet the age requirements.

Why they chose this property

This house is absolutely delightful as well as functional. The area is fabulous and close to all things Downtown. We have strived to restore the Bungalow while retaining as many of the period (1913) characteristics as possible to give you a feeling of being immersed in this areas history and style. Having grown up in the Downtown Colorado Springs neighborhoods, this property provided a unique opportunity to care for and improve upon a place that is important to our family. We are taking on the family tradition of Bed and Breakfast-ing and excited for you to share it with us. We sincerely hope that our "Historic Bungalow" will keep you absolutely delighted at every turn!

What makes this property unique

A hidden garden paradise in the heart of DT! Walking distance (15-20 minutes) to DT shopping, breweries & restaurants, galleries, and only 2 blocks from Colorado College. Easy access to I-25 for day trips and travel.
