About this property

Enjoy an elevated treetop view of our wildlife filled woods.

Beautiful and newly constructed in 2017, this two story treetop cabin "Bears Den" is perfect for the family and honeymoon getaway. Secluded away in the woods, located roughly between Zorbaz and Moonlite Bay, this 1000 sq. ft cabin sleeps up to six people comfortably. The open floor plan on the main level features a great room/kitchen/living room with a fireplace for the cold nights. The main level features a vaulted ceiling and a wonderful porch to overlook the treetops. Also when the kids (or roommates) become too much, the second floor (or loft) is perfect to accommodate for their needs. It is walking or short driving distance from everything that Crosslake has to offer. The cabin includes Wi-Fi , and two HD tvs. No worries, you won't be roughing it. There is a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wood floors, A/C and heat and a gas fireplace. Great Tree House adventure
The only problem we had was finding the place. GPS does NOT get to the this well-hidden spot. We had to stop and ask someone at a church after GPS saying we had arrived. The Tree House is awesome once you find it.

About the host

We are the Stuhrs. We purchased the property from the neighboring Kochs in 2020. The property was built by local builder, Wes Hanson. The property is nestled in 4 acres of woods that was given to the Koch children by their grandfather. The grandchildren built treehouse in the woods and those memories lived out years later in beautifully designed "treetop" cabins in the heart of Crosslake. We hope you enjoy the cabin as much as we do.
