The main living area and entry to this unique condo are on the ground floor. The second bedroom and bathroom are located in on the second floor. Your breath will be taken away by the water's apparent closeness and beauty of the surrounding area.

This wonderful location is close to everything you will want to do. It is about an hour drive to Victoria with the provincial capitol buildings, Butchart Gardens and other interesting attractions. The quaint town of Ladysmith is 10 to 15 minutes south, and Nanaimo with its picturesque harbour, restaurants and excellent shopping is 20 to 30 minutes north.

Sports such as fishing from the seasonal 100 ft deep water dock, clamming, swimming, kayaking and hiking just to name a few, make this a terrific location for the entire family's summer vacation.

If you want to get away for a month or more during the coldest parts of the year, and experience Vancouver Island's moderate climate, you will be glad you decided to visit Yellow Point Haven. The fully equipped kitchen, wood burning fireplace and cozy living room with 50 channel TV and DVD player make this a true escape.

Hi. My name is Maureen, and my property is managed by an amazing couple, Scott Dean and Patricia Victor. I am an avid cyclist, triathlete and traveler, and really enjoy the times I can visit the condo, but when I can't, I know that Scott and Patricia will look after everyone very well.

Why Scott Dean chose Ladysmith

I was born and brought up in Quebec, but have lived in Western Canada for many years. When you grow up by the ocean, it is never out of your blood, so the purchase of my beautiful BC condo filled a longing for the sea.

What makes this condo unique

The condo is right on the ocean front of Stuart Strait. The day I bought the condo, I looked out of the front window and saw a sailboat, a group of kayakers, some fishermen, and people swimming in the pool and ocean, as well as enjoying the hot tub. I knew then that I had made the right choice! While the setting is idyllic, it has everything a traveler or family could want, is close to Nanaimo, Chemainus, and Victoria, as well as other area attractions. The grounds are beautiful, and the neighbours friendly and helpful.

Excellent view morning, noon and night!

Scott and Patricia have a slice of heaven here. The unit is well-stocked, clean and spacious. Very easy to communicate with the owners. I can't express how wonderful our month long stay was at this condo. To wake up every morning with the calming view of the water was spectacular. This resort has it all - couple on a romantic getaway, family on vacation, business traveler, etc., can find what they need. Heated pool, jacuzzi, rocky beach, adjacent park, playground, tennis court, on-site laundry, private dock and more are available. We plan to return winter or summer because it's that wonderful! Lovely spot

This was a lovely spot overlooking the sea. The accommodations are large and modern, there is a hot tub outside for everyone's use, and also a pool which was closed when we were there. The only thing that could have been better for us was the weather. We would stay again for sure.

Beautiful Tranquil Retreat

I loved my nearly two months here. Beautiful views , Well stocked kitchen with all your cooking needs. Comfortable beds ,Attentive Hosts I cant wait to return . Onley drawback was the large window facing the lodge that had no blind or window covering for privacy .You need to be fully dressed before opening your bedroom door to go down to the kitchen for coffee or be on display to everyone in the lodge . This would only be a problem if renting as a two bedroom as the second bedroom is on the second floor and the window without blinds runs the length of the stairway to the second bedroom door. The main bedroom on the ground floor is private .

I would recommend staying here to anyone wanting a beautiful and relaxing vacation by the sea. From the moment we arrived I was delighted to find that everything was even lovelier than the photos. Close in proximity to many attractions, the choice of whether to be active or not is entirely up to you. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I would definitely go back.

A beautiful spot

We arrived in January and stayed for a month and we loved our time at this place. Views are magnificent and we met lots of friendly people. Will definitely be back.
