Wonderful stay! Fabulous location!
Barbara had excellent communication and was at the location early ready for our arrival. Beautiful fire in the living room made it so cozy when coming back from the Christmas markets. It is early winter so the floors were cold ( to be expected) so if visiting in the winter pack slippers. Very comfy beds, excellent location, will stay again if we return to Bruges someday!

Simply perfect!
It is truly remarkable how a property can be perfect for a romantic getaway, just as it is for an indulgent family/friend getaway - Barbara found this balance! Not only did we love all of the beautiful architectural and decor details, but all of the conveniences we could have asked for (and more) were at our fingertips. While I loved the Axelle’s house for its beauty, comfort and convenience, my 4-year old loved it equally as much for other reasons - it caters to all! Barbara was the most wonderful host - welcoming, attentive, warm, immediately responsive to messages but also allowed the distance to let us feel at home. I would unreservedly recommend Axelle’s house to all of my friends and may even plan a return visit because the property is simply that wonderful! ‘Dank u wel’ Barbara 🤗
