JUST A FEW WALKING BLOCKS TO THE EXCLUSIVE LAKEFRONT PARK!

Built in 1947 and completely renovated, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath 'camp' offers all the vintage charm of a rustic 'Old Tahoe' cabin, and the comforts of a new home. With an open-beamed Great Room, Old Hickory furniture, and antique Navajo and Zapotec rugs, Camp Cedar Crest harkens back to the character full old camps of the Adirondacks.

Situated on a large property in Tahoe Park, on Lake Tahoe's desirable West Shore, Camp Cedar Crest offers generous outdoor entertaining areas. Enjoy the outdoor cedar wood hot tub and spend the evening around the fire pit. Play a challenging game of croquet with your kids on the lawn.

Walk five minutes to the private 3-acre lakefront Tahoe Park, adjacent to the Sunnyside Resort, and enjoy the beach, deep water piers, beautiful lawns, and picnic facilities. Rent bikes or stand-up paddle boards nearby. Take a sunset waterski run from the Sunnyside.

About The Owner

The Haley and Barbata families are honored to share our vacation retreat with you.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2006

Why The Owner chose Tahoe City

Tahoe Park is so central to Tahoe's attractions. And we love the fact that we are a short walk to the Lake Tahoe Park Association for evening BBQ's or hanging out on the beach. And we are just a quick walk away from the Firesign and infamous Sunnyside Restaurant.

What makes this cabin unique

In the winter, we are conveniently nestled between Squaw, Alpine Meadows, and Homewood. Whether you drive or take the shuttle, you can be on the slopes in minutes!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Great Lodge with a very welcoming atmosphere. Absolutely loved it.

  • 5 of 5

Fully equipped with everything you could possibly want for an excellent stay.

The large fireplace was were we spent most of our evenings chatting and playing games (plenty to choose from the kitchen cupboard)

Excellent location. North Shore Deli and Fireside cafe within a mins walk away. Both serve delicious food.

Skied Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadow and North Star resorts which were very close by.

Absolutely loved our stay and would love to return maybe in the summer.

Very nice stay.

  • 5 of 5

Very pleasant accommodations. Owner very nice to deal with -- made everything easy. Didn't use fireplace, though we know it was available, but did enjoy the spa and the fire pit. The place was very clean and when we needed paper products, they were delivered immediately by housekeeper. Will recommend this place to friends.

Also the housekey gave access to the private beach park just across the road, where there was also a great small grocery store/deli/wine cellar. And the restaurant just across the highway was also very excellent dining. Great breakfast place just about 4 blocks away, too. Everything you would want in close proximity, and "town" just a mile or so drive.

Beautiful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about this cabin! It is so charming and well appointed and Russ was so easy to communicate with. The property is beautiful, on a large lot with a two car garage and wonderful gas firepit. The location is perfect, two blocks from the private Tahoe Park beach, Sunnyside restaurant, cafes and a great market. There's also a place where you can rent bikes and paddle boards. We hope to stay here again soon!

Perfect Tahoe cabin - much bigger than it looks.

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay...wish it was longer. Cedar Crest is a beautifully designed and appointed cabin that's the size of a house. Great location too. We'll be back!
