For your safety and ours and to respect our neighbors, only our guest shown on contract are allowed on our property and in our home during your stay.
Our guest area is cleaned and disinfected after each guest.
Aloha to the exotic North Shore and your air-conditioned (split air not window units) spacious, smoke free accommodations. Where you can adventure North Shore without a car. Because you can walk or bike everywhere or jump on the bus, bus stop is moments away.
Our guest area provides private entrance to the 1st floor of our home(we live on second floor) and off street parking for one car.
Step out your front door and walk to experience: Three Tables Beach (30 second walk), Waimea Bay (less than 5 minutes), Sharks Cove, enjoy a Hawaiian eating experience from great food trucks only 2 minutes walking to Shark's Cove Grill, North Shore Tacos, Pupukea Grill, Foodland grocery store, Coffee Bean Tea Leaf Shop, Sandy's Sandwiches. Also you may walk or bike (we provide two bikes for your use) down the street two minutes to rent snorkel gear, paddleboards or surfboards. The bike path is a five-minute walk from our home. This will lead you on a bike ride or walk to Pipe Line, Sunset Beach and Ted’s Bakery.
Your comfort is our intent so we offer to(1 or 2) guest a comfortable size bedroom (The Waimea Room) with a king bed. The living area is very spacious with a large flat screen TV and the kitchen area is more than sufficient in size. No need to use your time washing dishes you have a built in dishwasher:) Our guest have their own private outside shower which is supplied with hot and cold water and soaps and shampoos. You have your own private stack- able washer dryer laundry area. We supply laundry,kitchen,bath soaps, shampoos dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, two bikes, hair blower beach towels and sand chairs. We are also kid friendly with toys, books, crib and highchair.
If you are here to work our area provides good internet service and many areas to set up a work space. If a printer is needed we also can assist you with that.
So escape to your home away from home to work or play and experience all that the North Shore can offer only steps away from Island Retreat.

Best stay on the North Shore
Debby's property is absolutely incredible and Debby and Derek were both so hospitable. The location is absolutely perfect! It's right in the middle of the North Shore and across the street from what ended up being my favorite beach to go to. Debby provided excellent recommendations of activities to do and where to go. It was also just fun to explore on my own on the bike provided with my beach chair on my back and the umbrella laid over the basket. The suite itself was very clean and you can tell they've put a lot of care into it. The outdoor shower was also a highlight. What a wonderful home away from home, I would return in a heartbeat! Mahalo nui Debby and Derek.

Beautiful and Quiet
We enjoyed our stay at Debby’s unit. The suite was well equipped and comfortable and Debby was a great Host. Visit the public beach at Turtle Bay and bring the beach chairs and umbrella supplied by Debby. But first, have lunch and a MaiTai at Roy’s Beach House next to the public beach. Turtle Bay Resort also offers e bikes, horseback riding and golfing to the public. Surprisingly quick access to the North Shore and Waikiki because we were always driving against the flow of traffic.

Just checked out and already booked again!
There are just not enough stars to give this sweet ohana home. Bed is very comfortable and the view into the backyard is so tropical and serene. I used the outdoor shower whenever possible! There is plenty of room in the bathroom to spread out. You just can’t beat the location either. Easy walk to Waimea, Foodland, food trucks, Sharks Cove and Three Tables and the bike path is close by too, which will take you to Pipeline and Sunset beach by foot or bicycle. It’s an absolute yes for me and I truly did already book again! You will not find better hosts than Debby and Derek. Thanks so very much for sharing your beautiful home.

Fantastic place!
Aloha!! There are not enough words to describe our fantastic stay at this place! It is even better than the pictures can show. My husband and I were delighted with everything this unit had to offer. The barbecue place was a nice plus, we used it pretty much everyday… Debbie & Erick definitely deserve a Premier Host tag, amazing people and always available if we needed anything. The place is flawless! Super clean and well equipped with all the things you’ll need for a Hawaii vacation, 2 min walk to the ocean. Three Tables beach is my new favorite, and Waimea beach is around the corner. Mahalo Debbie & Erick :) Can't wait to come back to this Northshore gem!!

This place has everything..... Perfect location, comfortable bed, bbq, very clean, a fantastic host. Debby had thought if everything you might need. She is great with communication and quick to respond to any issues. Highly recommend this place

What makes this property unique

Our home is located in a great spot of the North Shore on a cul-de-sac. The guest area is very private it has its own entrance and is separate from our living space (my husband and I live on the second floor above the guest area) and our home is away from all the hustle and bustle of the North Shore. However you may walk down the street a few yards and be in all the action. It is biking or walking distance to Three Tables Beach, Waimea Falls, Pipe Line and Sunset Beach. Also walking distance to the grocery store and Sharks Cove. You may enjoy your total vacation without even renting a car by using the bike rentals down the street or taking the bus, if your main interest is to hang at the beach and hike and bike.
