The Historic Zunick Triplex is located 3 blocks from downtown Prescott. The triplex was built in 1938 and was the first purpose built triplex in Prescott. It was built by a man named Frank Zunick who used the recycled lumber from an old 1800s boarding house that was in Humbolt, Arizona. After the mines closed, some of the old buildings that had been used for the mining industry were sold off at a bargain and lumber was used to build new structures in various locations in and around the Prescott area.
