The location of this home is wonderful. A short walk to the Heavenly lifts (though you may still want to drive it), and it's nestled into a very woodsy neighborhood with just a peek at the lake off in the distance. Overall, the rooms are nice, and for 5 or 6 people it's a great getaway spot.
We did have some small disappointments along the way:
• The jets on the hot tub weren't functioning, so we opted out of using it at all. The owner was great at keeping us in the loop as fixes were attempted.
• We had some snow the day we got in, and it wasn't removed... which made things a little tricky. The driveway angles down to the garage, so the car had some issues with slipping and sliding. And the snow on the roof melted and refroze on the steps with just under an inch of uneven ice. (To be fair, we did not tell the owner about this issue.)
• The outlet plates in the bedrooms are oversized and not ideal for plugging in and charging our tech. A small thing, for sure, but definitely inconvenient.
Other than those minor things, however, it was a very solid place to stay in an extremely cool area. And we'd book again, too!
