The Tryon Chalet boasts amazing views of the Blue Ridge mountains and wineries, just minutes from the Tryon International Equine Center. (4.8 miles) Enjoy this cozy light filled home as a destination of it's own or enjoy the tranquility this land offers after a long day at the horse show or enjoying beautiful Polk County.

The Tryon View Chalet offers 2 stories in the main home with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The living room is dramatically vaulted 2 stories high. This updated home sleeps 5 with 2 large bedrooms and a loft, plus 2 full baths and laundry room/mud room. ( Loft has a single bed and office desk setup) The kitchen offers new shadow storm granite counter tops, a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, new stainless steel sinks and everything a chef needs to prepare the perfect meal. Beautiful new grey roan hardwood floors run throughout the home. The back deck sweeps 30 feet across the back of the home and offers the perfect spot to sip a glass of wine or enjoy your morning coffee.

This hillside 3.5 acre property is located on a very private road surrounded by greenery, forests, vineyards and farms. The peace and tranquility of this home and land is unlike any other you will find in the area. It's QUIET. At the same time you are just minutes to the Equestrian Center with not only amazing horse shows but also fabulous restaurants and some of the best wineries in North Carolina. We overlook Overmountain Winery and the incredible Mountain Brook Vineyards is just 1 mile east. We are also 20 minutes from Saluda with it’s small town charm, kayaking & tubing on the Green River, zip lining and waterfall hikes. 12 minutes Southwest is Landrum, SC known for it’s assortment of antique stores.

Cozy, very clean and comfortable!
We unexpectedly arrived extremely late and Kim made an extra trip to make sure the lights were on for us. The house was immaculate and it truly just felt like we were at home. It was quiet and cozy with great views. Kim is a great host and we hope to visit again soon!

Wonderful Experience
We stayed at the Tryon Chalet for an event at the Tryon Equestrian Center. The location is perfect and the setting is beautiful. Kim has every detailed covered for your stay and is quick to respond to any questions. The chalet was very clean and well stocked with essentials. We hope to be back next year!

Hey I'm Kim and this home is my vision for a perfect quiet and serene getaway for people to come to for both a comfortable and relaxing time. I host well-being retreats with horses for people at my horse farm property a few miles away. With it's incredible views and sunsets I created the Chalet as a place for retreat guests to enjoy. When we are not hosting retreats we do short term rentals for people coming to horse shows at the Tryon International Equestrian Center or FENCE or those visiting our amazing neighboring wineries- Mountain Brook and Overmountain. Clean. Comfortable. Visually stunning. Encased in Nature.

Why they chose this property

This house was perfect for so many reasons. It has incredible views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is so QUIET here. There is no street noise or anything else other than birds or an occasional cow moo in the distance. The neighbors all around us have 100 plus acre properties which makes it so private. The house sits in the middle of the property and is surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. I love the privacy the main home provides which each bedroom being on a different story. The closeness to TIEC was perfect and we are surrounded by beautiful vineyards.
