Winter Park Short Term Rental Reg # 4667. Condo in newest Trailhead building, beautifully decorated, well equipped, spacious and open, 1,300+ square foot condo at Trailhead Lodge in the heart of Winter Park! Close to everything Winter Park has to offer! Just steps to the free shuttle to take you to the slopes.

The condo is situated close to the clubhouse (with hot tub, heated pool, pool table and exercise room - please inquire about COVID status) and is the ideal luxury base camp for 2 families. It sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 bedrooms (king beds) and a bunk room for the kids with 2 twin over twin bunk beds (weight limit for top bunks 150 lbs and 250 lbs for bottom). There are 2 full bathrooms and a pack and play crib is also on site.

It is furnished with new top end mattresses and a variety of pillows for every taste; two leather sofas and a large live edge dining table; flat screen TVs in the living room and each king bedroom; DVD and a writers desk. HDTV cable and fast internet WiFi services are included. The condo has a 3 zone (bed, bed, living) radiant in floor heating system, a tank-less hot water heater, and a washer and dryer. If you plan to cook in, the kitchen has a large granite work area and is stocked with everything you'll need from a great selection of pots, pans, and utensils, to a crock-pot, waffle maker, french press, hot water pot, drip coffee maker, cookie sheets, kid friendly dishes, and a full set of spices! We supply basics like salt, pepper, sugar, and oil and hot cocoa too! If there is something you are wondering if we have, please ask!

Trailhead Lodge is a thoughtfully designed, newly completed, eco-friendly condo development in the heart of downtown Winter Park. Amenities include a beautiful clubhouse with living area, kitchen, exercise room, and pool table, and an outdoor area with pool, hot tub, and grilling/dining area. Situated along the Fraser River Trail, just off Main Street. and across the street from Hideaway Park, it is the ideal location for all your winter or summer mountain adventures!

Guests can walk, run, hike, bike, ski or snowshoe the Fraser River Trail just 10 steps from the patio. Or walk down to the Fraser River to fly-fish.

The Winter Park Mountain Resort, with excellent skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, and snow tubing is just 2 miles away and easy to access by car, bike, or via the free shuttle system that runs frequently along Main Street.

Main Street boasts plenty of shops, restaurants, and drinking establishments including 2 craft breweries and an excellent distillery.

Hideaway Park offers a large kids playground, pavilion, and newly completed concert stage. The Town of Winter Park offers free sledding in the winter, and a free concerts and a skateboard park and in the summer. And its all just steps away!

Other very local attraction/amenities include:

Great place
The property was very clean. It was easy to get to and always had parking available even though it was a weekend. We loved using the hot tub and it was very close. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of bath towels. There are no stairs. The owner was very kind and available. Great place.

It’s the season
This property is as nice as the pictures! David and Jane are very responsive hosts. The beds are super comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to the mountain, walking around town, and going to grab a bite to eat. We will definitely stay again!

This condo was great for our family of 4 - very clean and had everything we needed to cook a few meals as well as a high chair and pack and play for our infant. We've stayed at the Trailhead lodges before and you can't beat the proximity to Hideaway Park (right across the street), pool on property, and ability to walk to most anything you'd want to on main street. As of July '22, there is currently some construction taking place adjacent to the property, but we knew this ahead of time and it was not disruptive to our stay at all.

Ski Vacation
We really loved this property and it’s location to the Winter Park town. It’s a quick walk to restaurants, bars and markets. The drive to the ski area is super convenient. We also did a snowmobiling tour that departed just 8 miles from the condo. And, of course, the drive from Denver is pretty easy, too. Loved the heated pool and hot tub as well as the pool table in the community room. Condo was well appointed and stocked with everything we needed for a fun ski week!

Originally from PA and MI, we individually relocated to Denver, CO in the late 90's. We met in 2003 and were married in 2005. We have one precious son who is now 7.

Why they chose this property

We have both visited many towns and places in CO since moving here. Winter Park has always been a favorite place for our outdoor adventures and we have returned many times during both the winter and summer months and occasionally in the fall or spring. The Fraser River Valley has always felt like a bit of a magical place to play and relax when we leave I-70 behind and enter it by cresting the Continental Divide at Berthoud Pass. It has been a long dream and goal of ours to one day own a place in Winter Park.

What makes this property unique

The location and construction of the Trailhead Lodge is superb. We love that the condo is in town, close to everything, and that Winter Park has such amazing year round recreational opportunities. Just steps to the free shuttle to take you to the resort. We are also both very environmentally conscious and place a high value on green, energy efficient construction.
