Niagara Falls - Canadian Side of the Falls

The Niagara Falls are the second largest falls in the world after the Victoria Falls in Southern Africa. This impressive natural water phenomenon is found on the Niagara River which forms the border between Canada and the United States. The Rainbow Bridge links the two countries and is the major gateway of the region. More than 12 million tourists are estimated to visit the Niagara Falls each year. Wealth of attractions has been built up in the area, making it a popular destination to visit with family and friends.
This is Manu Beaudon's video of his visit to Niagara Falls Ontario. Long distance shots give us and idea of the size of the falls and the surrounding area. Close-ups make you feel like you're right there and can feel the mist from the constant fall of millions of gallons of water. For an aerial view of the falls, treat yourself to helicopter ride over the falls. Feel the spray hundreds of meters up in the air as you hover above the spectacular scenery. An alternate way to view the falls is to go on a boat cruise at the base of the falls or take a thrilling jet boat ride. If you want to explore the area on foot, the Niagara Gorge Trail Center has routes that take you through the various state parks that run alongside the Niagara River and Falls. Guided walks can be booked in the summertime and you need only a moderate level of fitness in order to enjoy the outing.
