This beach house sits atop a cliff next to Lawrencetown Beach, one of the best surfing beaches in Canada. The house is very private set 1 mile back from the main road. The house includes a dog door and pen for your pet, internet connection, a small TV in each bedroom, wood stove fireplace, and panoramic views of the ocean. Only 30 minutes from Halifax where you can enjoy all the attractions of the city including tours of the harbour, whale watching and a ride on the Harbour Hopper that takes you around Halifax and then out into the Harbour. Next to the house is the Canada Trail for walking or cycling or cross country skiing. There are several rental places where you can rent surf boards or kayaks or go horseback riding. Beautiful French Acadian villages along the ocean make for great scenic drives. Many artists have walk in studios along the coast and there are many great beaches including Conrad Beach, Martinique Beach and Clam Harbour Beach.

Lawrencetown is a beach community with the best surfing in Canada all year round. The village is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Halifax where there are historic attractions, shopping,restaurants and theatre. My home has a panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean and the lights of the Halifax harbour can be seen at night. The house is next to the Canada Trail a marvelous walking and cycling trail that winds around the oceanside. My house has a dog door and dog pen for your pet. The house is set up on a cliff and is very private with the closest neigbours over 1/2 mile away.September is a great month to visit here as the weather is still beautiful and the beaches are deserted.
