This is only a three apartment building and this is the top apartment. The roof deck is always available with a panoramic view of the City and Marin headlands. Bring up a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. You can often spot the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill! You will hear them before you see them. They are noisy in flight. They sometimes land in the trees in the backyard! They are bright green and about 12' tall. They usually fly in groups.
Golden Gate Park boasts the fabulous DeYoung Museum, and the Botanical Gardens, along with many lovely gardens and walks. Other museums include the Museum of Modern Art, the Asian Art, and the Legion of Honor Museums. Nearby is the musical Beach Blanket Babalon; in fact, you can walk there! The others can be reached by public transportation. There must be 100 restaurants within walking distance!
At the top of our steep block are the steps to Coit Tower. You can ride the elevator to the top for an amazing view of the whole area. You can take steps down the other side and find the wonderful restoration of the Ferry Building and its ongoing Farmer's Market and interesting restaurants and gourmet food stores, at the base of Market street.
Right in our neighborhood, we have a great Italian deli, the best in the City, and we are next door to Chinatown, with all those interesting foods, and fresh seafood at Fisherman's Wharf. North Beach has an Italian flavor. Right down our street, a bakery sells out each morning of their focchia, the best in the City. There is a small neighborhood farmer's market. You won't be hungry!
Pick of some of those interesting ingredients, and cook in that nicely equipped kitchen! I am a good cook, and I designed that kitchen!
