a much-visited tourist attraction and a congenial place to live.
Las Cabezas de San Juan in Fajardo (23 miles east)
Is the most complete nature reserve in Puerto Rico; it invites you to experience every major tropical habitat unique
to the island. On the tour you will visit mangroves, a rocky beach, a lagoon, and a lighthouse. Do not miss the
bioluminescent bay. Reservations required
Other Information: On 187 road close to the complex a mini market called Quality Market, a small bakery (panaderia y reposteria) where you can also get a good cup of Puerto Rican coffee. A drugstore is also in this area.
Going West (right at on Rte #187) towards Loiza, there are 2 gas stations, and McDonald's.
Further down on 187 Km 4.2 (East) there is a Bahia Beach Resort and Golf Course. They sell and rent golf equipment. They also have lower rates after 1:00PM
At the corner of Hwy #3 and Rte #188 is Factory Outlet Mall with many of the same stores you’ll find in the USA. There is also a Super Wal-Mart at this intersection.
If you continue on Rte #187 (west) towards Pinones/Isla Verde, you will be on the roadcommonly known as Pinones. On this road there are several fresh food stands
In Los Colobos Shopping Center you will find Pueblo Supermarket, Home Depot, K-Mart,Radio Shack, Fuddruckers, Chili’s and many other stores and restaurants. Is located in Hwy #3.
