The cottage is at the heart of all the action of Ocho Rios, yet seems like a world apart. Nearby attractions include the world-famous Dunn's River Falls, horseback riding, golf, canopy tours, watersports, diving, duty-free shopping and much more. There are 2 grocery stores and a meat shop within easy walking distance, as is one of the two public beaches. There are craft markets and duty-free shopping downtown, while some of Jamaica's finest art & craft can be found at the Proudlock's Harmony Hall, 3 miles away.
There are some excellent restaurants, while the Hard Rock Cafe and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville have added a new dimension to the area's night life. Amnesia and James Avenue are the hot-spots for more rootsy entertainment. There is a cinema in Island Village, which also offers some of the more interesting shopping.
The Cottage at Te Moana is the perfect haven from which to escape the real world.
