Fantastic, authentic (end of 2011-related) holiday house in the old town of Tavira for guests who like to live in the middle and still want to have quiet. You can use the numerous bars, restaurants and shops in the city within walking distance, as well as quiet time at home on the patio, spend at a terrace or by the fireplace. The carefully renovated old (new) house has underfloor heating and air conditioning, elevator and designer features such as glass stairs, etc. The rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view of the town and the Serra. The house is also suitable for disabled people, (ground level without barriers, elevator, wide doors).

Numerous books, CDs and casual seating by the fireplace there. The pool with outdoor shower and jet stream is available depending on the weather from March / April to October / November. The house is our holiday retirement home, it has been carefully. In short, a place to feel good and relax

Style of the house and historical involvement: The house is situated in the heart of the old town right on the night the illuminated walls of Tavira. The origins of this town are characterized by morbid charm to about 3000 BC to about Turdulern and Phoenicians. In the turbulent history were Romans, Spaniards and Moors shaped the city. Everywhere you can find evidence of this past: the Roman bridge, patrician houses with Renaissance faces, the old Moorish Castle, arches like those found in the North African kasbahs, patients, atrium gardens and courtyards, stairs light and pagoda-like superimposed built 'Quadro Aguas Roofs' . Tavira has 38 churches and chapels, nowhere in southern Portugal so much sacred architecture is in one place.

We have tried, in the restoration of our listed building house the history of this city to meet, on the other hand inside to create a cozy comfort that connects the old with the new in a pleasant way.

Details of the house: The house is basically composed of two parts: the street of restored old buildings and the courtyard of the new component, two parts which are connected by modern elements in the interior. Since the first 32 square meters large living room with fireplace, large bookcase, open glass staircase is about the hourly changing light coming wonderful advantage. Bathroom and WC / shower with marble, locker and elevator complete the old part. The connection to the new building is created by the kitchen with about 27 square meters, which directly connects to the 30 square meter courtyard and approximately equal-sized pool. The bright kitchen is brand new and has all the modern appliances.

In the 1st Floor there are 2 DoppelSZ that are 20 or 17 square meters. The larger bedroom is facing the courtyard with patio and the second to the street front. Between the SZ is the marmorgekachelte bathroom and it is a large roof terrace with wonderful views of the city and Serra.

Disabled Construction: The entire house, including the patio and terraces, barrier free at all three levels and has doors of at least 80 cm wide. All layers are separated by a sufficiently large lift interconnected, so that older people, but also light and moderately disabled, the entire house can be used with its facilities.

Of course, the patio and terraces fully furnished, each also has a sun protection.

There is great shopping, many restaurants and cafes nearby. The entire city is within walking distance. The city is located on the Rio Gilao, about 1 km from its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean, on the edge of a lagoon. (Ria Formosa Nature Reserve). On the islands has many miles of beautiful sandy beaches that are on different paths from the house by car and by boat or foot passenger ferry in a few minutes. The house is situated in the historical center in a picturesque alley. It has charm, is authentic, yet comfortable and exudes a cozy atmosphere. The location is quiet, yet right in the middle southern and bustle. The Grand Exchange, the modern library, museum and exhibition hall as well as numerous small and large businesses and not least a number of historic churches and buildings are just minutes away. The mountains of the Serra are close and inviting ...

Golf: Within 20 minutes 6 golf courses are accessible (including Monte Rei) in 30 minutes

  • The prices are all inclusive, all energy costs are included, linen and towels with weekly change. Incl. also covers the cost of the weekly cleaning, maintenance, service, etc. Once the cleaning costs are € 90, - likely added. Washing and drying facilities are available. The bright kitchen opens to a view of the small freshwater pool with counter current system. Furniture and appliances are brand new and include all
    Components of a modern kitchen, such as dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave, extractor, etc.
    All sanitary items are by Duravit and fittings by Vola.
     Large windows in the 2nd OG can on the roof terrace and a glass staircase much light in the Portuguese-style living room with fireplace and bookshelves. An elevator takes disabled people to all floors and on the roof terrace. The doors are suitable for wheelchairs, the house is accessible.
  • This house is in accordance with long-term pre-booking rented for large families or families traveling together with the directly adjacent Casa Laluleva so that the two objects are ideal for up to 10 people. The separation of the two existing courtyards can then be removed by opening a sliding panel, so that a common patio arises. The owner recommends that in view of the pool does not take any floating infants because of the liability of the owner page is expressly excluded.
    Terms of payment: Approx. 1/3 deposit on booking, balance on site upon arrival and key collection.

    For long term rental (at least four weeks) in the months of November to February, the rent reduced by about 20%.

  • The house has two naturally ventilated and illuminated, spacious bedrooms, which are either air-conditioned and can accommodate two people. In one of the bedrooms, the wood beam construction is visible under the roof, which gives a very nice and spacious effect. To this the courtyard-facing bedroom has a private terrace with lounge chairs. The second bedroom is to the front aligned and provided with Parisian balcony and window. The beds have 2m by 2m and with two high-quality memory foam mattresses (2x1m) and Topper, the double bed in the bedroom facing the courtyard has electrically adjustable head and foot sections. Both bedrooms satellite TV flat screens are available.

The fireplace in the living room is available, there are similar wood from nearby farmers In the living room and bedrooms each a flat-screen TV (in Wozi with dvd player) is installed. WiFi access with faster Internet line. Each terrace and the patio comfortable garden chairs (can be used as a bed) available. The pool is about 7.50 mx 3.70 m and with counter (depth 1,40 m). House is not suitable for children, wg. Pool, elevator, open glass staircase railing and low historical level. Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) are provided. Weekly, as weekly cleaning (not for short-term rentals to 10 days, then more towels) The house is our holiday residence and age authentically decorated and lovingly.
