GOLF: Golf village Obora is located only 2 km from the golf resort Monachus with 9 (par 62) and 18 hole (par 73) with nice golf range, club house/restaurant and large terrace with a view of the golf course. A true paradise for the demanding golf and nature lovers. Furthermore, in Austria (7 km) you will find the championship golf courses of the Haugschlag golf resort with 2x 18 hole and a nice restaurant + terrace. In the Austrian resort Litschau (10 km of your villa) you have 50% green fee discount as guest of golfvillage Obora on the compact 18 hole golf course Herrensee (green fee from € 7 incl.discount). You will live in a golf paradise between 5 golf courses with alltogether 81 holes. You can rent equipment everywhere and have a course with a trainer. The 9 hole Monachus and 18 hole Herrensee are ideal for beginners and the 18 hole Monachus and Haugschlag are one of the most famous and nicest championship courses in Austria and the Czech Republic.
SKI: 4 km from the house is the ski region Hradiste with a ski lift and descent of 340 m, evening skiing with lighting, artificial snow makers, ski and snowboard school and restaurant with terrace. Price: € 4 for 10 rides. Nova Bystrice and the surrounding area has cross country skiing, you will find more ski regions and slopes in Austria.
PRAGUE/Vienna/Linz/Salzburg/Dresden/Munich/Berlin: Both cities Prague and Vienna are 150 km away, Linz is 130 km and Salzburg 250 km away from Nova Bystrice. Dresden is 300 km, Munich 400 km and Berlin 500 km away. Through Nova Bystrice you can also take a marked green cycling path from Prague-Vienna.
WATER: You can go swimming and canoeing in our lake. Also nearby you will find a lot of nice lakes. In the Austrian spa resort Litschau (10 km from your villa), you will find an inexpensive lido with beach, separate pool for children, lawn, playground, large outside pool, restaurant, terrace, play machines for children. In Litschau is also an indoor pool with sauna. Also, you can go to a new aquapark with an indoor and outdoor pool in Jindrichuv Hradec (18 km). In wintertime is possible iceskating on our lake.
FISHING: 5 km of your villa in a small lake without a license for € 16/day or € 60/week. In Nova Bystrice you can fish in three ponds in 1500 to 2000 meters of your villa with UK/US/?-license for € 18/day or € 32/2days. Also in Litschau in Austria are in 10 km of you villa fishing opportunities without a license from €33 in the lake Herrensee.
TENNIS: There are more tennis courts in Nova Bystrice. At hotel Nobys are a synthetic tennis court and a gravel tenniscourt from € 4 per hour. Tennislessons are € 16 per hour. Tennispartner is available. At the courts is a small playground for children. After tennis you can drink a draftbeer on the terrace of hotel Nobys for € 1. Also is available good alcoholfree beer for € 1,20 a bottle.
EXCURSIONS: In Czech Republic's Canada in the Austrian forest district you will find tranquillity, nature and culture. It is ideal for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, swimming and rowing in one of the many lakes. However, you can also go on nice drives just as 30 years ago. From the villa, you can drive to the north to the Czech Republic or to the south (Grametten border without controls only 1 km from the villa) to Austria. In this special landscape you will find a lot of nature and culture. On the way, you can drive through villages and untouched medieval cities with a large selection for walking and going out. Above all, this region is known for its nice untouched nature and beautifully restored burgs of the Rosenberg family, distributed throughout the Czech Republic and Austria. The restaurants in the Czech Republic are very inexpensive (beer from € 0.50 and food from € 2.50) and in Austrian restaurants you get wine from €1 and food from € 5.
VILLAS: The 30 villas were built in 2006 with a lot of care and under compliance of the strictest quality standards. Nice ambiance; newly furnished in 2007 with comfy leather- and teak furniture, SAT LCD TV, 3 internet connections, airco, central heating, well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms with underfloor heating, garage/carport, big gardens/meadows/playing ground (soccer, badminton, etc.).
