Lauterbrunnen lies at the foot of the magnificent crown of 4000m high peaks: Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (UNESCO Heritage Site), and is famous for its picturesque waterfalls. The Staubbachfall is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in the world.

It is easily accessible by car or train, and an ideal destination for winter and summer holidays with all activities one can imagine: skiing and snowboarding, 220 km of prepared slopes, helicopter skiing, freestyle skiing, cross country skiing, snow-shoe trekking, winter-hiking, sledging, ice-skating, tennis, golf, swimming.
