Chia is a small seaside resort with good restaurants, a tobacco and magazine shop, and some shopping facilities.
The beaches were awarded the best for cleanliness several times by Italy. The sand is fine and water is crystal clear. The beaches Tuerredda and Su Giudeu are especially noteworthy, which lie at the end of Chia, behind a natural oasis. Flamingos are native in this wetland.
Whoever wants to take up some activity in the evenings can drive to the small town Pula about 15 km away, which has a wide variety of shopping malls, pizzerias and restaurants. There are banks, pharmacies and a small museum here. On warm summer evenings the shops are open until midnight and you can dance to live music at the central Piazzetta in summer.
The most beautiful time to visit South Sardinia is the pre-season or post-season. Until end of October/beginning November you can still swim in the sea. Guests are also welcome in 'winter'.
Down from the villa Casa Stellavista there is a very beautiful 4-star village, Hotel Parco Torre Chia.
I have made an agreement with the management, so that our guests will receive the following privileges for a fee of € 50 per person and week:
? Pass through the hotel directly from Casa Stellavista.
? Pool usage.
? Using parasols on the beach.
? Using the gym area.
Golf: The 18-hole golf club Molas is abound 20km far, in Chia itself there is a Pitch and Putt right on the beach.
