Villa Maruka is situated in the old centre of the village Mirca, 3km west from Supetar, which is the port for ferries connecting the island Brac with the biggest Dalmatian town Split. This part of Mirca still has the authentic soul of an old island village: stone houses, narrow streets, and the time you spend here passes more slowly and peacefully. The village is surrounded by old olive groves, orchards and woods with interesting hiking/biking routs. The nearest beaches are within 10 to 15 minutes walk.

The villa is handily place for exploring the whole island of Brac and its charming seaside towns, hidden historical treasures, beautiful beaches and the unspoiled nature. One can also take the ferry beck to Split for one day shopping and sightseeing in the Split old town formed in the magnificent Diocletian palace, 1700 years old unique Roman palace which is still today alive and lively.

If you just want to relax in your villa, without needing to drive anywhere else, the nearest restaurant and coffee bar are some 800 meters from the villa, on the main beach in Mirca, which is 10 minutes on foot. Just 2 minutes walk from the villa is a grocery shop as well. Bigger supermarkets, souvenir shops, green and fish market, pharmacy, hospital, bank, ATM, gas station, more restaurants, cocktail bars and night bars, all can be found in the town of Supetar, just 5 minutse drive from the Villa Maruka by car, taxi or a bus. Some low cost companies like EASY JET, GERMAN WINGS, Wizzair, JET2com, NORWEGIAN, Vueling, Transavia also fly to Split. We can help you organize transfers from the airport to the villa by minibus (via Split ferry port) or even by private speed boat directly from the airport to the pier in Mirca.
