Our three Abruzzo villas for couples are set between the mountains and the sea, about 4 miles from the small village of Casoli.
It's a corner of Italy still untouched by mass tourism. Uncrowded and unspoiled - but less than an hour from Pescara Airport, which has direct flights to/from the UK with Ryanair.

Golf: Miglianico GC - host course for the 2009 Mediterranean Games golf event - is just under an hour for us. It's a par-72, 18-hole course of around 6200 yards off the guest tees. The course is well-kept and the greens are particularly fast and true.
Ski: The chairlift at Passo di Lanciano is an hour from us. The huge resort of Roccaraso - the biggest ski complex in the Apennines - is about 75 mins.
Both have a choice of black, blue and red runs; snowboarding; and cross-country-skiing.
