The The Santa Ynez Valley is a popular wine touring and golfing area and you are 5 to 10 minutes away from quaint towns of Solvang, Santa Ynez and Los Olivos, Gainey, Roblar and Beckmen Wineries. This home offers scenic country roads for walking right out your door. Walk out your front door, cross your front lawn and walk across a dirt lane to photograph the horses in pristine pastures. Enjoy majestic views of Santa Ynez Mts & Figueroa Mts from all garden areas. Every room has a view. Magical sunsets, quail, hawks and the sound of silence. The great room is huge with high wood ceilings. Country style kitchen, fully stocked for cooking and entertaining, . Bedrooms w/ fine linens, down comforters and thick towels. Comfortable seating areas in park like garden with 15,000' lawn, rose shrubs, lavender, mature oak trees. Adirondack seating on front porch. Beautiful wicker furniture on back porch. Binoculors, bird books for nature lovers . Vacationers with well behaved dogs are welcome.

Owner allows for flexibility in creating your own perfect wine country vacation. The climate and small town environment bring winter vacationers from Washington state and Canada November through February. Fall and Spring weekend getaways for the L.A. and S.F. vacationer is perfect for wine touring and golfing. The home's gardens invite you to stay home, relax, read and take in the views and season of the year.

Extra convenient storage in super-sized garage for golf clubs, bicycles, kayaks. Garage is large enough for two vehicles. Two clickers for garage opening. Even the garage has magnificent views.

Home is set up with passive eco panel heating for allergy sufferers. No wall to wall carpeting. Clean rustic tile throughout. The tile is immaculately clean and frequently sanitized.

The washroom is very large and both machines are front loading for big loads. large ironing board and steam iron.

Cuisinart cooler is available for extra wine storage.

The Country style kitchen has everything you will need for cooking up a storm. The refrigerator and pantry will be stocked with necessary items from organic coffee, cooking oil, spices to pasta and sauce. Silver and China available for nice dinner settings. The view from kitchen sink is spectacular.

The seating area of the great room is furnished with oversized deep sofas, a huge stuffed chair/ottoman and lots of soft down pillows. The flat screen 42 inch TV has HD and blu ray dvd player for maximum clarity. The DISH programming is the most complete plan available. Bose stereo. Dining area and living room area have the best views in the house. Great room has book collection, dvd's, games and a perfectly situated desk for your computer--also with a view.

The only sounds you will hear at night are the owls, crickets and the wind in the trees. Your beloved dog/s (limit of three dogs) will enjoy an completely fenced super sized dog area with lawns, trees shrubs with easy access from garage, great room and master bedroom.

Horse farms are spread throughout the valley's towns of Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Solvang and Buellton. The vacation rental is the main residence of a five acre pristine valley ranch with beautiful views of the white fenced irrigated pastures. The home is surrounded by lawn, oak trees and view of both mountain ranges. Cimate is mild with Fall and Winter day temperatures averaging 65 to 75 degrees and night temperatures dropping to 35 to 45 degrees. Golf is very popular-Alisal River Course and the San Marcos Golf Course - open year round & 10 minute drive from your vacation home. The residence is located within a prestigious community at the end of a private road. Enjoy bird watching, walking, running and cycling by stepping out the door of your vacation homel

Beautiful small zoo in Santa Barbara beach area. You can shop till you drop.

Golf: San Marcos Golf Course, difficult, open to public, off of Highway 154 (designated scenic highway), 12 minute drive.

Alisal River Course, open to public, within town of Solvang, great restaurant. 10 minute drive.

La Purisima Golf Course, Lompoc, open to public, 25 minute drive. The San Marcos Course and the Alisal River Course offer some of the best golfing in California.
