Our property is set in one of the safest and quietest neighborhoods outside the heart of Rome. At the same time, the house is very well connected and ideally located. Rome Int Airport is a 10 min car ride away. The metro station of Ostia Antica is a 10 minutes walk away, trains run every 10 minutes going either to the city of Ostia, which is on the sea, or to Rome center (approx a 25 minutes ride). The ticket is a mere 1 euro for rides up to 75 minutes! There are some rather good beaches in Ostia (venue also to a number of sea sports), some nice pubs and some of the best seafood restaurants in the region, both in terms of quality and affordability. Ostia Antica's Roman ruin (second in the world only to Pompei's)are a mile away, and so is the pinewood of Castel Fusano, a park of hundreds of hectares with numerous cycling, walking, jogging and horse riding paths going through. And if you are up for a lazy afternoon you can always chill out at the 16,000 sq. feet private garden!
