Sand Dollar is a fully equipped two-bedroom island getaway situated atop a hill overlooking downtown Cruz Bay in beautiful St. John, USVI. Sand Dollar is located in Battery Hill, an intimate and private gated condominium community complete with a large parking area, sun decks, private pool, high-speed Wifi, and excellent cellphone service. With just nine homes in Battery Hill, guests can enjoy a peaceful and quiet haven in which to enjoy the charm and ambiance of this special West Indian paradise. Sand Dollar is within walking distance to gourmet restaurants, boutiques, convenience stores, beach bars, the taxi stand, and the private beach at Frank Bay.

The cozy Living Room is furnished with comfortable wicker furniture, upholstered with tropical fabrics, and includes a queen-size sleep sofa, flat-screen TV, and desk. Two sets of double doors lead from the Living Room to the private covered deck that overlooks the harbor, the downtown activity, romantic sunsets, and the beauty of the Caribbean Sea.

The galley-style Kitchen is open to the Living Room and is fully equipped, right down to the blender for making frozen tropical drinks and wine glasses for every occasion.

Sand Dollar offers two Bedrooms, each with its own air conditioning unit. The Master Bedroom features a queen-size bed. The Guest Bedroom has two twin beds that, upon request, can be made up as a king. All beds are dressed with soft white linens and topped with ample pillows. A full Bath with tile shower and sumptuous towels is shared by the two Bedrooms.

The private pool and sundeck is for the exclusive use of Battery Hill owners and guests. The area is surrounded by lush Caribbean greenery, and there is a gas grill as well as a laundry facility for guests to use.

Sand Dollar has everything needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation, making it the perfect 'home away from home' on St. John.

Other Activities: The island of St. John boasts some of the world's most beautiful beaches and hundreds of acres of preserved National Park Service lands. The gorgeous white sandy beaches offer unparalleled swimming, snorkeling, and diving opportunities. Hiking trails meander throughout the island with trails ranging from easy to moderate.

The island of St. John does not have a golf course. A quick ferry ride to St. Thomas allows one to play at Mahogany Golf Club, a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole golf course that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean with a view of the neighboring British Virgin Islands and beyond. Most spectacular is the Devil’s Triangle - a trio of holes so challenging that golfers who play through them without a penalty shot earn a prize in the pro shop. The course features lush rolling hills, tropical valleys, and greens. The course recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation, which included a brand new irrigation system.
