Kahili Ginger Estate is a beautiful historic home (built in 1929) nestled in lush native rain forest just 2 miles from the Volcanoes National Park, 1 mile to quaint Volcano Village, 20 miles to Punaluu Black Sand Beach (a sea turtle nesting ground) and 25 miles from historic Hilo town. This spacious home has 2 large bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths, large kitchen and a fabulous deck looking out at the rain forest. Staying here is a true 'Old Hawaii' experience.

Volcano is a perfect place to get away, slow down and take in natural beauty. It is also a great location from which to explore the east side of the Big Island. A hikers dream and a bird watchers paradise, there are so many fabulous trails in and around the national park, that you may have a hard time deciding which to go on first. You can take some exciting day trips to black sand beaches, hot ponds and historic small towns. A true get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will leave here feeling rejuvenated.
