Our wonderful home at Silver Sands Racquet Club is available for your desert retreat.  Silver Sands is located at the corner of Country Club Drive and Portola Avenue. Our home is located at 4 Paume Lane, in the quiet section, away from the traffic noise of Portola or Country Club Drive - Marriott's Desert Springs Golf Course is adjacent to the end of our street. Silver Sands is a wonderful community of friendly owners with 256 individual patio homes - built in clusters around 15 different swimming pools. 

Our home was completely remodeled in 2005. Expanded from 1070 square feet to 1240 square feet - everything from the patio surfaces to interior floors, kitchen, baths, windows, doors & more were completely redone. The owners at that time were contractors and this was their full-time home. Travertine floors, baths and fireplace place; slab granite kitchen, high end fixtures, new air conditioning, wine refrigerator and more.

Great privacy! All homes are Spanish style with courtyards and 2 car garages. Gorgeous views of the Santa Rosa mountains and Mt. San Jacinto throughout the neighborhood. The tennis complex has 8 courts, a club house & tennis pro on site from October through April. There is no cost to tenants to play tennis. Lessons are available for a fee.

There is a 2nd refrigerator and storage cupboards in the garage. New wrought iron patio furniture & cushions by Woodard along with a Weber gas barbeque enhance the outdoor living. Dramatic night lighting of the courtyard is on timers.

A peaceful desert hideaway yet close to wonderful restaurants, public golf courses and incredible shopping. Please contact us via email or by phone and we'd be happy to explain why we love this home so much. We hope you will too!

W. Marriott Desert Springs Hotel & Spa. Desert Willow Golf Club (www.desertwillow.com) is just across Country Club. Close to Ralph's (great grocery store!), wonderful restaurants like Morton's Steakhouse, The Cork Tree, City Wok and loads more. 5 minute drive to the weekend Swap Meet at the College of the Desert. Close to The River complex in Rancho Mirage. Palm Springs International Airport is only a 25 minute drive away. Fabulous shopping is close by too!

Other Activities: Golf, tennis, spa, shopping, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, hot air ballooning, soaking up the sun & relaxing!

Credit cards via Paypal only - you pay the 3% (4% intn'l) Paypal fees. Signed rental agreement & $700 security deposit secures your time - remaining funds due 60 days prior to start of your time. $200 of security deposit is non-refundable for cancellations prior to the 60 day time frame.
Fees And Taxes Every month is 4 weeks. Stays less than 28 nights requires payment of City of Palm Desert "hotel" tax - we're required to collect & remit to the City; Cleaning fee is $90 - or $125 with a pet.
HomeAway asterisk is in-correct - we consider all months to have 4 weeks.
