Drive along 6A to Provincetown to explore all the unique art galleries,museums,restaurants,specialty shops, bike trails,National Sea Shore beaches, Marconi Station and the first lifesaving (Coast Guard) station. Take a short trolley tour through this eccentric artist community and ride through the sand dunes and learn the history of the town where the Indians and Pilgrims first attempted to settle.
Other Activities: Cape Cod Bike Trail begins in Dennis and ends in Provincetown. It's well maintained and paved. Dennis takes pride in its history, unique architecture and well maintained old estates and charming Sea Captains homes. Take a ride to Scargo Tower, the highest point on Cape Cod used as a watchtower for fires. On a clear day, you can view the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown and a view of the Sagamore Bridge west located west. The views are breathtaking and memorable. The Cape Cod Bike Trail begins in Dennis and ends in Provincetown taking you through the sand dunes of the national seashore.
