Casa Del Sol Naciente – The House of the Rising Sun – is a spacious six-bedroom, five and ½ bathroom, beach-front vacation home that sleeps 12 to 15 people. Architect Udi Saly and Liz Conover, former Executive Director of Takashimaya NY, designed and decorated this stunning villa. Many consider this villa one of the best vacation villas on the Riviera Maya.

Outdoor living areas include a shaded outdoor dining table that can seat up to 14 people in the garden for meals al fresco. The architecturally stunning 55-foot lap pool has a grand stone patio for sunning. The Roof Palapa accommodates massages for two or just lounging in hammocks. Adirondack chairs face the sea and an outdoor bed swings on ropes in a separate palapa by the sea.

The Villa is a two-story 4,500 square foot home. The first floor has an open floor-plan perfect for a large group. An oversized kitchen with a large black-granite center island is a wonderful family gathering and meal preparation area. The black lava-rock breakfast counter adjoins the Dining Room with a hardwood table that seats 12, glass doors open up to the Lilly garden and the Caribbean Sea. The downstairs Master Bedroom is en suite with a four-poster king bed, a private bathroom w/shower and a personal entrance to the pool and waterfall bench. Upstairs are four additional bedrooms. Three are king-size bedrooms, furnished with luxury linens with balconies and direct view of the Caribbean Sea. One bedroom has two twin sized beds. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The 1,500 square foot roof has a star-gazing seating area, and a large palapa with an outdoor bed. The villa was renovated in 2010. A penthouse suite with a swinging bed, private bathtub and a private garden balcony has a 270 degree view of the Caribbean Sea…

The English-speaking Guest Service Manager greets all guests. A full-time staff lives on premises in a separate Casita to provide villa services. Services and amenities include welcome beverages; complimentary daily breakfast and complimentary massages at the roof palapa. Pre-stocking of groceries; full chef services; private yoga teacher and local activities can be arranged and are available upon request.

Casa del Sol Naciente can be rented together with the adjacent Villa Zen del Mar subject to availability.
