Located on the charming Island of Manasota Key you can enjoy fun stuff such as windsurfing, canoeing, Jet-boating, fishing, bicycling, shell-searching on 3 different Gulf Beaches, ocean swimming as well as swimming in the heated pool on site, grilling on your patio or being served in local speciality restaurants, spend a little money in various gift shops or visit the Town Center Mall in Port Charlotte just 15 minutes away which also offers 8 movie theaters. For the Baseball fans the Stadium is within short distance. Depending on the time of the year, there are many different fairs, art shows and open air music festivals within this area. The Port Charlotte Cultural Center with Theater, Library and different classrooms that offer anything fun from dance lessons to computer classes is located within a short distance.

Private Gulf of Mexico Beach access: Residents of Manasota Key have the privilege of enjoying a quiet and serene non-public beach. It can be reached by foot within 3-5 minutes. If you prefer to mingle and enjoy the Public Beaches, you have the choice of the 'Englewood Beach' in the historical 'down town' and the 'Stump Pass Beach' at the southern tip of the Island. Both Beaches can be reached within a few minutes by car of bicycle.
