Natural beauty and RUSTIC architecture have been carefully carried throughout the grounds in order to create a magnificant, secluded mountain top setting. The native stone and wood house is located minutes from Maggie Valley and the adjoining Cataloochee Ski Resort and Dude Ranch (accessible by service road). Abundant floor to ceiling glass allows panoramic vistas of mountain meadows and distant mountain ranges. Special seclusion and natural beauty play host to wildflowers and strawberries. Ample hiking trails lead to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Historical Cataloochee Valley. Come enjoy your privacy with private pool and hot tub overlooking the mountains. Road to the house is gravel but in good condition. Complete amenities, including 33 acres, elevation 4700 feet with 360 degree views of the Smoky Mountains. Special note: No central air conditioning, due to the high elevation and design of the house (lots of glass), it is not suitable for small children or the elderly. The design of the house consist of contemporary designed stairs, pool and deck

The home was built in 1969 and has not been updated. Due to the rustic contemporary design of the home and pool, we have chosen to leave it in it's original state. That being said, if you are looking for a newer home with plenty of updates - then please do not rent this home.

This rental home is for people who love the outdoors and want to get away from it all. It is in a very natural setting with lots of outdoor space.

This home does not have central air conditioning and the heat is turned on September 1st of each season, unless otherwise requested.
